Hydro-Therm Coatings
(Roof Coating, Interior and Exterior Paint)
Mass Insulation,
such as cellulose and fiberglass, is a conductive type insulator. Conductive,
meaning it continues to allow the transport of hot temperature waves to
penetrate your building, but slows their transport by the amount of mass
insulation present.
On the other hand,
Hydro-Therm Reflective Coatings shield the surface it is applied to from the
penetration of heat. The insulating particles found in Hydro-Therm Coatings
actually dissipate the heat waves back in the direction from which they came.
This can best be demonstrated by applying over 2000 degrees of heat from a blow
torch to a human hand protected by only a thin layer of the insulating particles
found in Hydro-Therm Reflective Coatings. These particles glow red from the
heat, yet the hand is unharmed.
How Does It Look?
